Checking out - The Apfelstrudel!

Product Nr. 4

Today I am reviewing the Apfelstrudel inside the box.

Before we start, here a little something about the Apfelstrudel for all to know from our dear fried Wiki:

Apple strudel (GermanApfelstrudelCzechŠtrúdl) is a traditional Viennese strudel, a popular pastry in Austria and in many countries in Europe that once belonged to the Austro-Hungarian empire (1867–1918).

So you spend another day in the store buying all kind of things, food, and you think it would be nice to have some desert. So you start looking for deserts and find the Apfelstrudel with it's appealing picture.

Looking good, looking yummy!! I'll take it and walk quickly home to get all done.

Arriving home you start unpacking the yummy thingy and shove it into the oven exactly how it says on the box:

And you wait .... and the 40 minutes pass and you realize it is not done ... maybe your oven is broken or not strong enough...put another 30 minutes.

Good, aaah.... finally done! ....a little something spilled on the side but it's ok, we eat that too.

And now let's compare the inside with the box!

And now you feel like a sucker .... what??? Where is my Apfelstrudel from the box????????

I can tell you ....it was NEVER there!

The taste is pretty ok... but ... .... Sucker! They got me again with their yummy looking picture, I bought it and this is all that matters to them. They only want to sell their product, no matter what. SAD. 4 stars out of 10 only because it was crispy on the outside, and I like that!

  1. Don't get so aggravated, this is product photography. Check out a video on this topic on YouTube and you'll see what I mean.
Give your skills, you could well be one, but they are cheaters, not artists ...

  2. Hello Kiki, yes, I now what product photography is, but this is no reason for them to put it on the boxes and present us something that is not :) people usually want to buy what they see, or see what they buy. In this case it is not the real thing
